WOMEN, TREAT YOURSELF TO A RETREAT

Sisters in Jesus the Lord

If you would like to make a retreat, by yourself or
with some friends, for an afternoon, or for a day
or more, call Sisters in Jesus the Lord at 816-353-
2177 for more details. The retreats will be held in
the Lourdes Retreat Center (former convent above
the parish offices), overnight accommodations are
available, no charge, donations gratefully accepted.

Altar Society

Did you know that all girls and women of the parish
12 years and older are automatically a member of
the Altar Society? We are in need of active members
to help with Funeral Luncheons and Saturday morn-
ing cleaning of the Church. You do not need to at-
tend the monthly, 2nd Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. meet-
ing to help. To donate food, your time, or both call
Marie Bowman 816-356-2481. Your help would be
greatly appreciated.

= Fellowship Hour =

Please join us Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. to
9:30 a.m. for coffee, juice, and donuts in the school
foyer. From these gatherings we have identified some
classes that will be offered, including lessons in art,
computer basics, machine sewing, crocheting, knit-
ting, and rosary making. If you are interested in learn-
ing a skill or would like to share one, come join us!
