and there is a Senior Citizen Discount and Scholarships

Starting in March there will be an 8 week art class to
be held on Thursday afternoons from 1-3p.m.
In a couple of weeks we will have a basic computer
class on Mondays 1-3p.m. and on Tuesdays a Craft
class from 1-3pm..

The Confirmation meeting will be held on Sunday,
February 12, from 7p.m. to 8:15p.m. at Bishop
O’Hara High School. We will be discussing Catholic
Social Teaching and working on a service Project.

During the month of February. Mother’s Refuge will
be the beneficiary of your generosity. The program
does wonderful work in helping pregnant women 19
years old and younger choose life for their babies.
Celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes! Watch
together the movie, “The Song of Bernadette” in the
OLL Parish Hall, Sunday, February 12 at 2:00
p.m. Bring the whole family, your friends, and a bag
of popcorn. Don’t forget your cushions. Free religious
articles for your home and family will be available,
plus a few prizes for the game winners. Give your
whole family this opportunity to honor, delight, and
thank our Blessed Mother Mary!
Do you want to spruce up your life and your family
this Lent? Here is one very good way to do it!
What: Lenten Afternoon for the Whole Family:
Teens and adults will hear the first in a series
of five CD talks by Matthew Kelly followed by a 15
minute discussion period.
The first session is, “Becoming the Best Version of
Yourself.” Children of all ages will have a special
program with the Sisters in Jesus the Lord and their
helpers.
When: February 25, First Saturday of Lent, at 3:15 to
4:30PM in the OLL Parish Hall.
We will have a Fireworks stand this year—Yeah!
We are planning on making Italian cookies for the
St. Joseph’s Table. If you would like to join us in
the Parish Center, please watch the bulletin for the
date and call the parish business office so we can get
an idea of the number of people interested.. The
baking will be done the week before the St. Joseph’s
Table dinner on Sunday March 25th.
If you missed the 4 talks on Euthanasia and other
end of life issues, sponsored by the OLL Pro Life
Ministries that were given last October here at OLL,
good news. They are being repeated in the parish
hall of Coronation in Grandview at 2pm the first 4
Sundays of Lent, beginning 2-26-12. Information
flyers are in the church.
